Comment:
This is probably my
favorite of the Chronicles. It takes place during the Golden Age of
Narnia, with the Pevensies reigning in their prime, although the story
is actually set in the countries to the south of Narnia, which provides
for a rather different feel to much of this novel. I always find the
visual imagery captivating: riding across the moors at night, entering
the towering city of Tashban, spending a night among the tombs of the
ancient kings.
